What is LoE glass?

       Regular glass coasted with microsopic, virtually invisible, metallic layer.  The primary function of the  LoE glass is to reduce the rate of heat transfer.  The secondary function is to reduce infiltration of fabric fading UV rays.

     Glass technology at its best.  A high performance energy efficient glazing ystem using soft coat LoE, silicone foam spacer and high density Krypton glass to achieve an R-value of 8 (U=.125).  This glazing has the highest R-value available on the market today and the solar heat gain is minimal, providing exceptional year round comfort.

     Egress code is a standard set by the NationalStandard Building Council that requires entry and exit specifications in sleeping areas for emergency applications, meaning that all bedroom windows have to meet a certain size opening in case of an emergence like a fire.
